'you can’t deny me my astronomy' is an archive of body and labor through sound. The archive harnesses the paratexual spaces within the user interface of the operating system, like filenames, icons and metadata inscription to tell you a story, and user’s desktop as a space for exhibition. You will find in this archive, rescued files, and lost files I failed to rescue.

This folder opens up a window into the world of love and friendship I immerse myself in as I hear my friends and lovers’ voices echo in my ear, reminding me of what I live for, and what I stand up for, when I’m living in a world where sounds injure my body and leave me astray.
